Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Laz Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva closes the distance looking to clinch
and Silva takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Silva takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Silva throws a left and a right that both miss
and Jr counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Silva chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jr can pounce on him.
A solid leg kick lands there for Jr.
Silva looks gassed!
Jr with a nice cross.
Jr lands with a good body shot.
Silva moves forwards but Jr connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Jr scores with a nice head shot.
Silva is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Silva throws a sloppy head kick
and Jr counters with an inside leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A jab from Jr finds it's way through Silva's defenses.
Silva has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Silva there as he acknowledges the shot.
Jr scores with a jab to the head.
Jr dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Silva. That did some damage!
Silva takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Jr connects with a nice looking jab.
Jr delivers a nice body kick.

Jr darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Jr frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Jr scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Silva?
Jr lands a big shot there that rocks Silva but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Jr scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Silva is rocked!
Jr loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Silva scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Jr land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Jr stands and salutes the crowd.
