Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Antonio Nogueira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Igor Kirillov!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira feints and as Kirillov raises his hands in defense, Nogueira changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Nogueira drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nogueira jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kirillov working for a triangle but Nogueira defends it easily.
Nogueira stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kirillov swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nogueira passes Kirillov's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Nogueira moves into full mount! Kirillov won't be happy about that!
Nogueira seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Kirillov is holding on tight.
Nogueira is working hard here to advance position.
Kirillov wants to hold on but Nogueira pushes him away.
Kirillov is looking to improve his position but Nogueira isn't that keen on the idea.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nogueira looking for a guillotine from mount but Kirillov is having none of it.
Nogueira with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Nogueira takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.

Nogueira has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Kirillov has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Kirillov looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kirillov is holding on to Nogueira 's glove but Nogueira gets free and slips his arm under Kirillov 's chin. This could be big trouble! Yes, Kirillov is tapping furiously and this one is over!
