The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killorn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mariotti misses with a right hand
and Killorn counters with a three punch combo that has Mariotti backing up. Mariotti nods at Killorn to acknowledge the strikes.
Killorn throws the kick towards the body but Mariotti avoids it.

Killorn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Mariotti is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Killorn.

Killorn misses the shot to the body.
Killorn bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Alberto Mariotti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mariotti thuds his right hand into Killorn's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Killorn takes one on the button.
Mariotti wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Killorn thows a body shot but no joy.

and Mariotti counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Brent Killorn has been cut.

Mariotti scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Killorn uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mariotti.
Mariotti jabs Killorn to the body, keeping him at a distance.

and Killorn counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Mariotti feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Killorn sprawling to the canvas! Killorn rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mariotti finish him?!

Killorn is rocked!
Killorn is breathing heavily.
Mariotti fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Killorn out cold! Brutal finish!
