Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Scabby Bat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jp Flaim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Scabby Bat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jp Flaim!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Flaim lands a big uppercut and Bat crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Bat looks OK. Flaim waves Bat back to his feet!

Bat is rocked!

It looks like Scabby Bat has been cut.
A big left from Flaim misses.
Oh Bat is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Flaim throws a looping overhand right but Bat ducks down to avoid it.

Bat closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Flaim looks like he's trying to stand up.
Bat passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Flaim!
Bat seems to have got his legs back now.
Bat landing strikes from the mount and Flaim is in trouble!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bat is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Bat looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Bat goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Flaim is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Flaim drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bat looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bat looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bat!
Bat is looking to take a break and control but Flaim is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
An elbow from Bat crashes against the mat.
Bat trying to control the position but Flaim is working away.
Bat lands some shots froms side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bat creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Flaim sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Flaim is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bat is controlling him well.
Bat wants to lay and pray for a moment but Flaim keeps working.
Flaim is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Bat trying to control the action but Flaim is working from the bottom.
Bat throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Flaim works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Bat wants to control but Flaim is keeping him busy.
Bat is breathing heavily.
Flaim regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Bat.
Bat trying to control the position from guard on top but Flaim is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Flaim manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Bat uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Flaim.
Bat tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Flaim swivels and escapes.
Bat fails in his attempt to clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Flaim lands the left hand.
Flaim scores with a crisp jab that stopped Bat in his tracks.
Flaim looks to land a left hand but Bat moved out of range nicely.
Flaim drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Bat's head, knocking him out cold! Flaim is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
