Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lumpiot Paskaks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorik Vartanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jorik Vartanov is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paskaks rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vartanov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Paskaks's corner calls for a 1-2. Paskaks obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Vartanov swings widly with a right hand
and Vartanov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Jorik Vartanov has been cut.
Vartanov misses with a telegraphed body shot

and Paskaks counters with a nice double leg into side control. Vartanov won't be happy with that.
Paskaks in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Paskaks wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vartanov keeps working.
Paskaks tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Paskaks creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Paskaks has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Paskaks tries to score with some ground and pound. Vartanov controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Vartanov shoots in looking for a takedown but Paskaks manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Vartanov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Paskaks is landing with some decent strikes but Vartanov is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Paskaks misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Vartanov is working for an americana but Paskaks has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Vartanov was thinking about the submission.

Vartanov drops back looking for a leg! Paskaks is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Paskaks manages to kick Vartanov off! Vartanov jumps back into Paskaks's guard.
