The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Cruz or perhaps it was just good defense by Lind which made him look bad.

Cruz shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lind's guard.
Lind controls Cruz momentarily but Cruz frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cruz wants to control from the top but Lind keeps moving.
Lind is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Cruz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Cruz tries to free his leg and advance position but Lind is retaining full guard.
