Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rob Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kelly might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to R Kelly - Real talk. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kelly shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kelly showed some decent athleticism there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kelly thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Kelly throwing shots but Silva is blocking nicely.
Kelly is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Silva wants to get back to his feet.
Silva tries to kick Kelly off in order to stand up. Kelly Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Silva takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Silva wants to get back to his feet but Kelly is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Kelly pushes down on Silva's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Kelly tries to hold on but Silva pushes him away.
Silva is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.
Kelly is desperately trying to improve his position but Silva has a good base and remains in mount.
Kelly holds on to Silva around his waist, trying desperately to prevent any attacks.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kelly is looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kelly throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Silva counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Silva on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Silva closes the distance but Kelly moves to the side
letting Kelly counter with a right hand.
Kelly shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Silva as he jumps to the side.
Kelly shoots in looking for a takedown but Silva manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kelly's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kelly misses with a hook
and Silva counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Kelly dives in and grabs Silva's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes down on Kelly's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rob Kelly. That's going to take a lot out of him.

letting Silva counter with a right hand.

Kelly closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Silva to the mat! Silva manages to get full guard.
Kelly is pushing down on Silva's leg trying to pass to half guard. Silva is fighting to maintain full guard but Kelly has managed to sneak the leg through.

Silva tries to roll over but Kelly keeps him under control.

Silva wants to stand back up but Kelly manages to pass into side control.
Kelly is looking to take a break and control but Silva is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Silva is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Silva is looking for a sweep. Kelly is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Kelly not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Kelly sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Silva defending well though.
Kelly seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Kelly has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kelly takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Kelly thows a huge punch but Silva dodges it nicely.
Kelly works his way into full mount!
Silva tries to reverse the position but Kelly maintains control.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kelly cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Kelly is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Silva can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Silva is rocked!
Silva takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Kelly's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
