The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos fails with the takedown.
Santos on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Santos shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Slade counters with a right hand to the body.
Slade uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Santos has time to react.
Santos misses with a takedown attempt
and Slade counters with a lovely shot to the body.
John Slade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pedro Santos.

BOOM! Slade lands a beautiful left hook that drops Santos. Santos tries to recover but Slade is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Santos lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
