The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Reynolds as Ismail shoots in.
Ismail with a poor takedown
and Reynolds counters with a stiff right hand.
Ismail's corner calls for a 1-2. Ismail obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Reynolds looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Reynolds displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ismail.

Ismail closes the distance and clinches up with Reynolds, looking for a takedown. Ismail pushes Reynolds against the cage but Reynolds circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Reynolds really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ismail. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Reynolds is staying active underneath Ismail, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Ismail has his takedown stuffed
and Reynolds counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Reynolds loads up on a big right hand but Ismail slips the punch.

Ismail bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
