Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Weezer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenji Kudo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Weezer shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Weezer seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

It looks like Kenji Kudo has been cut.

Weezer seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kudo for as long as he can get away with.
Weezer's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Weezer is taking a breather. Kudo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Eric Weezer wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Weezer takes the fight into the clinch.
Kudo wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Weezer has him pressed against the cage.

Kudo tries to break free but Weezer pushes him back against the cage.
Weezer is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Weezer drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Weezer drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kudo gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Kudo tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Weezer drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kudo pulls his leg out and moves away.

Kudo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Weezer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Weezer is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Kenji Kudo's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
