Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kim Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie has chosen Born To Win as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Kim Kong has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kim Kong seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryan Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie drops his hands momentarily and Kong takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Ryan Gracie has been cut.
A slow jab from Gracie misses its intended target.
Gracie throws out a loose jab but Kong uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gracie's corner calls for a 1-2. Gracie obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Kong ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gracie moves away.
Kong works Gracie's body with a nice hook.
Gracie shoots for a takedown but Kong saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Gracie takes a swing at Kong's ribcage but misses.
Kong fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kong misses with a hook.
Kong dives in and grabs Gracie's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gracie pushes down on Kong's head and hops out.
A telegraphed right hand from Kong misses the target.
Gracie throws a lazy uppercut
and Kong counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kong throws out a powerful jab.
Kong comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Gracie moves out of range of the body kick.
Kong lands a really nice looking cross but Gracie seems unphased.

Gracie is rocked!
Kong is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Gracie flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Gracie is out cold! Kong holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
