The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valentina avoids the head kick by Magtanggol.
Valentina looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Magtanggol moves into the clinch.
Valentina tries for a takedown but Magtanggol manages to get underhooks.

Valentina tries to land knees in the clinch but Magtanggol avoids the damage to the body.

Valentina has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Magtanggol uses from the top position.

Magtanggol keeps control of Valentina as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Valentina can't break the clinch.

Magtanggol breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Magtanggol lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Magtanggol moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Magtanggol lands with a big right hook that stumbles Valentina - he's out on his feet here! Magtanggol follows up with another monster hook that separates Valentina from consciousness! Valentina falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Magtanggol stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
