PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ironman Gab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Lontrame (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lontrame has chosen Acid Rain by Liquid Tension Experiment as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lontrame slaps away a takedown attempt from Gab, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Gab fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Lontrame misses with a few strikes there.
Lontrame throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lontrame shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gab defends it nicely.

Gab knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lontrame on the ground.

Gab is in close to Lontrame's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Gab stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lontrame swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lontrame working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gab doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gab manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Lontrame is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Gab rolls with it to try and escape but Lontrame cranks on the arm and Gab is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
