Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piet Snot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snot is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Lil Wayne - Drop the World. Piet Snot has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jimmy Jones's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jimmy Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Piet Snot!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones with a jab.
Jones is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
A solid leg kick lands there for Snot.
Snot tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jones manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Snot pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Snot moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jones misses with a hook
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Snot fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it.

Snot shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Snot fails to move to back control.
Snot controlling his opponent.

Snot looking to control but Jones is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Snot swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Jones is now in Snot's guard. A big mistake from Snot there, giving up the dominant position!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Jones on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Snot. Snot obviously looking to wear him down.
Jones smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Snot tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Snot throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Jones shoots in and bounces Snot off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Snot holds on and takes a little breather.

Snot is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jones is aware though and is defending well.

Snot is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Jones in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Snot wants to sweep here but Jones controlling him for the moment.
Snot manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jones manages to get himself to full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Piet Snot has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Snot shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Snot has Jones up against the cage in a clinch.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Snot takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Snot jumps guard but Jones stands there with Snot around his waist. Snot gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Snot goes for a takedown attempt but Jones pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Jimmy Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Piet Snot.

Snot shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jones's guard.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Snot wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jones keeps working.

Snot is stalling here. Jones is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Snot seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Jones has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Jones misses with a takedown attempt - Snot sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Snot wants to take a breather but Jones is having none of it.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Snot prevents Jones from improving his position.
Snot is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Snot misses with a head kick.

Snot throws a nice inside leg kick.
Jones misses with a low kick as Snot jumps back.

A solid leg kick lands there for Snot.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Snot shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jones manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Snot. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Jones is staying active underneath Snot, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Snot throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Snot moves into full mount! Jones won't be happy about that!
Snot misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Jones is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Snot has hold of Jones's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jones manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Snot can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jones is looking to escape.

Snot has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Jones has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Snot is controlling the position but Jones somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Piet Snot showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


A telegraphed right hand from Jones misses the target.
Jones throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Snot's waist but Snot gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jones off to one side.
Snot lands with a kick to the temple. Jones shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"


It looks like Jimmy Jones has been cut.
Snot tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jones shoots in but Snot avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jimmy Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Snot tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

and Snot makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Snot turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Snot feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Snot lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Snot darts in and clinches Jones up against the cage.

Snot breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Jones is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Snot lands a slapping body shot.
Snot connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Snot throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Snot dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jones. That did some damage!

Jones moves forwards but Snot connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Snot looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Snot persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing.

and Snot counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jones won't be happy with that.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Jones is not content to let Snot control the position.

Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Jones postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Snot is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

And that's the end of the fight!
Piet Snot comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Snot has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
