Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between LaCarn Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Morihey Tako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tako throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Williams was covering up waiting for the punch and Tako finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Williams is looking to stand up but Tako isn't so interested in that idea.
Tako wants to pass the guard but Williams is keeping the position.
Williams wants to get back to his feet but Tako is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Tako stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Williams swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tako is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Tako won't allow Williams to get back to his feet.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Williams keeping moving, preventing Tako from controlling successfully.

Morihey Tako has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Tako decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Tako performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Tako frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Tako sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Tako fails to move to back control.
Tako looking to control but Williams is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Williams is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Tako looking to secure an arm triangle but Williams defends it well.
Williams is squirming around, avoiding Tako's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Williams is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Williams is breathing heavily.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Tako wants to control the pace but Williams is squirming around nicely.
Tako tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Tako with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Williams.
Tako doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Williams counters with a single leg into guard. Tako didn't expect that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Williams wants to stand but Tako has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Williams decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Tako, up you get!

Williams has Tako up against the cage in a clinch.

Williams pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Tako misses with a takedown attempt
and Williams makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Tako really felt that one!

Williams changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tako looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Williams decides to stand back up. Williams steps back and let's Tako get back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Williams scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Tako tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
LaCarn Williams overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Williams tries to stand but can't do so whilst Tako controls his leg.
Tako is looking for a sweep. Williams is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Tako manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Tako looking to control but Williams is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Williams is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tako is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Tako!
