McGregor comes to the cage accompanied by Bloc Party - Flux. Burnquist has chosen "Blut Royale" by Combichrist as his entrance music. Bob Burnquist has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Charlie McGregor's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts McGregor, as that shot connected.
Burnquist gets off balance looking for a body kick
and McGregor counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Bob Burnquist has been cut.
Burnquist avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
McGregor checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Burnquist throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and McGregor counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Burnquist takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Burnquist shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

and McGregor cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
McGregor feints and then cracks Burnquist's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Burnquist down.

Burnquist might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control McGregor kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

McGregor lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
McGregor has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
BOOM! McGregor connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Burnquist tries to hold on but McGregor postures up.

McGregor wants to finish this one by submission but Burnquist is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from McGregor.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
