Malek keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Javier Garrido seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Malek throws a head kick but Garrido moves out of range.
Malek keeps Garrido at a distance using the push kick.
Garrido misses with a hook to the body
and Malek counters with an outside leg kick.
Malek lands with a thumping leg kick.
Garrido is breathing heavily.

Malek tests Garrido's chin there with a solid looking shot.

It looks like Javier Garrido has been cut.
Garrido uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Malek.
Malek will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Malek lands a big head kick that sends Garrido tumbling to the mat! Malek takes a step backwards and waves Garrido back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Garrido walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Garrido limp body while Malek jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
