Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mieszko Szczygiel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaina Correa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mieszko Szczygiel could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kaina Correa's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mieszko Szczygiel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kaina Correa!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Szczygiel tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Correa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Szczygiel closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Szczygiel content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Correa's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Szczygiel gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Correa to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Szczygiel wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

and Correa counters with a nice double leg into side control. Szczygiel won't be happy with that.
Correa throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Szczygiel works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
