And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Mendes misses.
Mendes misses with a few strikes there.
Styyman looks to clinch
and Mendes counters with a left and a right that stings Styyman.
Mendes throws a sloppy head kick and Styyman moves out of range easily.
Mendes looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Styyman throws a right and a left that Mendes avoids nicely.
Mendes lands with a nice combination. Styyman backs away looking to recover.
Styyman wants to clinch but Mendes slips to the side
and Mendes counters with a two punch combo.
Mendes scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Styyman throws a hook but Mendes blocks it.
Styyman throws a head kick but Mendes moves out of range.
Styyman misses with a double jab
and Mendes counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Styyman.
Styyman pushes Mendes up against the cage in a clinch.
Mendes wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Mendes could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Styyman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mendes lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Styyman circles away quickly and effectively.
A head kick misses from Mendes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Styyman misses with a double jab
enabling Mendes to counter with a crisp jab.
Sloppy strikes from Mendes. Those never looked like landing.
Styyman tries to clinch but Mendes is having none of it.
Styyman fails in his attempt to clinch.
Mendes lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Styyman takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Mendes blocks a head kick by Styyman.
Mendes swats away the attempt to clinch by Styyman.
Styyman looks to clinch
and Mendes cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Styyman slips a jab and a cross from Mendes.
Styyman lands a leg kick that knocks Mendes off balance momentarily.
Styyman throws a combination that misses
and Mendes counters with a one-two to the body.
Styyman looks gassed!
Styyman darts in trying to clinch
and Mendes counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Styyman is rocked!
Mendes lands with a right that hurts Styyman. Styyman looks to clinch but Mendes throws a short knee that drops Styyman. This one is all over!
