Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Flex Luthor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Super Slayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luthor comes to the cage accompanied by Battleflag. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Slayer cracks Luthor with an uppercut from hell and Luthor crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Slayer's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Slayer avoids a strike by Luthor and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Luthor's guard! Fantastic escape!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Luthor connects with a nice short shot to Slayer's temple.

Luthor shoots in looking for a takedown. Slayer tries to sprawl out of it but Luthor keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Slayer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Luthor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slayer's waist but Slayer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Luthor off to one side.
