Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mad Dog Vachon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Braden Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vachon comes to the cage accompanied by Gros jambon. Turk is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Deeper and Down. Braden Turk has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mad Dog Vachon's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vachon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Turk counters with a straight right hand.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Turk crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Vachon - the referee stops the clock and Turk gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Vachon. Turk manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Turk throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Turk counters with a shoot takedown. Vachon fights it but they end up in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Turk loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Vachon is looking to sweep but instead, Turk has passed into half guard.
Turk drops an elbow to the side of Vachon's head.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Turk fails to land with a series of punches.
Vachon wants to clinch but Turk slips to the side
letting Turk counter with a right hand.
Vachon doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Turk counters with a lovely straight right hand!
No joy there for Vachon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Vachon checks a low kick from Turk.
Turk throws a shot from downtown. Vachon moves away and avoids it.

Braden Turk showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Turk closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Vachon looks to move to half guard but instead Turk has passed into mount! Damn!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Turk has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Vachon is working away from the top position though.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Vachon postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Turk is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Vachon, into his guard.

Turk throws an elbow but Vachon slips to the side and avoids it well.

Well Turk has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
