The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee throws a half hearted mid kick.
Lee throws a chopping leg kick but Slavovick manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Lee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lee misses with a low kick.
Lee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Slavovick avoids a kick to the body.
Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Slavovick moves away.
Lee misses with a body kick.
Lee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lee misses with a head kick.
Slavovick moves out of range of the body kick.
Lee tries to land a front kick but Slavovick steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Slavovick throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lee's waist but Lee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Slavovick off to one side.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lee tries to break the clinch but Slavovick is controlling the position.

Slavovick breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lee throws the kick towards the body but Slavovick avoids it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Slavovick shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Slavovick showed some decent athleticism there.
Lee is trying to get back to full guard.

Slavovick shoots in for a takedown but Lee shows good takedown defense.
Lee throws a body punch but Slavovick moves out of range.

Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Slavovick closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lee circles away.
Fred Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Slavovick darts in and clinches Lee up against the cage.
Slavovick tries to pull guard but Lee holds him up against the cage and eventually Slavovick drops back down to his feet.

Lee drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Slavovick dives on top into guard.

Lee working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Slavovick doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Slavovick manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Slavovick avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Slavovick wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving.

Lee has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Slavovick is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Lee.
Lee seems a little lost for a moment, as Slavovick dominates the positioning.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Slavovick advances to mount.
Lee is in all sorts of trouble here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
You get the feeling that Lee really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Dante Slavovick showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

A big head kick from Lee and Slavovick is sent sprawling to the canvas!

Slavovick is rocked!

Lee drops back, looking for a kneebar! Slavovick looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Slavovick looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Slavovick!
Slavovick is still in real trouble! Can Lee finish him?
Lee really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lee is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Lee is not content to let Slavovick control the position.
Slavovick seems to have recovered his senses.

Slavovick is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lee is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lee tries to get back to half guard but can't.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Lee is trying to work for a sweep but Slavovick has mounted him!
Slavovick wants to control the pace but Lee is squirming around nicely.
Lee is in all sorts of trouble here.

Slavovick trying to control but Lee is having none of it.
Lee is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Slavovick tries to control but Lee wriggling away.
Lee tries to hold on but Slavovick postures up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Lee is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Slavovick is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Lee is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Slavovick tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Fred Lee showed his dominance in that final round.
