Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Evaby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gil Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hernandez has chosen Requiem for a Dream by Lux Aeterna as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evaby misses with a combination
and Evaby takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Evaby shoots in for a takedown but Hernandez shows good takedown defense.

Evaby closes the distance and pushes Hernandez back into the cage.
Evaby fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Hernandez pulls guard effortlessly.
Hernandez is looking to stand up but Evaby isn't so interested in that idea.
Hernandez lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Evaby!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hernandez tries to control but Evaby wriggling away.
Hernandez tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Evaby knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hernandez on the ground.
