Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Pippen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dewayne Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wayne is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Eye of the Tiger. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dewayne Wayne!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wayne on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Dewayne Wayne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wayne falls off balance throwing a combination
and Pippen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Pippen scores with a punch to the head.
Wayne looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Pippen jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

It looks like Dewayne Wayne has been cut.
Wayne tries for a takedown but Pippen circles away easily
and Pippen counters with a right hand to the body.
Pippen misses with a wild combination.
Pippen throws a series of punches but Wayne avoids them all with ease.
Pippen's jab looks to have found its range, popping Wayne under the eye.
Wayne takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Wayne moves out of range of the strikes.
Wayne tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Pippen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pippen takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Pippen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Pippen has closed the distance and engaged Wayne in a clinch.

Pippen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Wayne fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jordan Pippen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dewayne Wayne.
Pippen digs a good hook to Wayne's body.
Wayne looks gassed!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wayne tries for a takedown but Pippen circles away easily
and Wayne takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Pippen lands a slapping body shot.
Pippen fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Wayne is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Pippen has Wayne up against the cage in a clinch.
Pippen digs a right hand underneath Wayne's ribcage. Wayne let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Pippen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wayne is trying desperately to land a takedown but Pippen is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Wayne.
Pippen connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Wayne momentarily.
Pippen lands with a shot to the body.
Wayne takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Pippen clinches.

Pippen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Pippen leaves Wayne with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Pippen throws a one two combo.
Wayne drops his hands momentarily and Pippen takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Pippen connects with a looping right hand.
Pippen cracks Wayne with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Wayne is rocked!
A big left from Pippen misses.
Wayne is still on wobbly legs! Can Pippen finish him?
Pippen is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Pippen throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Pippen lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Wayne is looking to close the distance but Pippen sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Wayne crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Wayne is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
