Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heddy Lamaar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Sander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lamaar kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Pledge To Hedley Lamaar. Heddy Lamaar had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamaar will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A combination from Sander does no damage.

Lamaar throws a push kick but Sander slaps the foot to one side.

Lamaar takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Heddy Lamaar has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sander throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lamaar sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Lamaar shoots in looking for a takedown. Sander tries to sprawl out of it but Lamaar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sander manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Lamaar rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sander moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sander missing with a left hand there. Lamaar was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Lamaar uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sander.

Lamaar darts in and clinches Sander up against the cage.
Lamaar has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Sander avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Heddy Lamaar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lamaar prevents a body shot from Sander.
Lamaar lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Sander or not.
Lamaar is trying to drag Sander to the mat but Sander just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Lamaar has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sander is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Lamaar has Sander pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Sander manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Sander lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Lamaar or not.
Lamaar is breathing heavily.

Lamaar jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sander walks away with a smile on his face. Lamaar gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Sander scores with a jab to the body.
Sander throws a series of strikes that have Lamaar backpedaling.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sander misses with an uppercut. Lamaar saw that one coming.

Tommy Sander is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sander scores with a nice head shot.
Oh Lamaar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A swing and a miss from Sander.
Lamaar seems to have got his legs back now.

Sander drops Lamaar with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lamaar looks back up at him and smiles so Sander waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Sander takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Lamaar wants to clinch up but Sander keeps it at a distance.
Sander throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Lamaar colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Sander as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Lamaar is left battered and dazed whilst Sander and his camp cheer!
