The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alderson walks into a stiff left hand from Ganga.
Ganga clinches up against the cage.
Ganga lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Alderson or not.
Alderson goes for a takedown attempt but Ganga pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Alderson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Alderson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Alderson tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Ganga counters with a right hand to the body.

Ganga fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ganga lands a jab to Alderson's midsection.
Alderson looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Alderson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Ganga lands a body shot.
Alderson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Sunil Ganga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matias Alderson.
Ganga batters Alderson with a massive right followed by a huge left! Alderson is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Ganga lands a final crushing right hand to drop Alderson to the mat with a gruesome thud! Ganga is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Sunil Ganga!
