The crowd seem to be enjoying Singh's choice of entrance music: requiem for a dream. Randel Brown has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Savo Singh!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown throws a looping overhand right but Singh ducks down to avoid it.
Singh shoots and misses
and Singh takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Brown connects with a looping right hand.
Singh looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Singh.

Brown is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Singh shoots in but no luck this time.
Randel Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Savo Singh.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Brown lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Singh has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Singh and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Singh takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Brown connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Singh's hands.

No joy there for Brown, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Brown cracks Singh with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Brown lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Brown bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Singh's head.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Brown sizes up Singh with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Brown throws a leg kick but Singh sees it coming and moves out of range.
Brown walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Singh checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Brown lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Brown connects with a nice looking jab.
Brown is pawing at Singh, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Singh's nose. Singh is badly hurt! Brown pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Singh tries desperately to hold on but Brown is relentless in his assault! As Singh receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Brown away and this one is in the books!
