Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Irvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pawel Molik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Irvin kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Before I Forget by Slipknot. Patrick Irvin had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Molik has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Irvin finds it's way round the side to connect with Molik's head.
Irvin throws a combination that misses
and Molik counters with a stiff right hand.
Irvin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Molik tries for a takedown but Irvin circles away easily
and Irvin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Irvin connects with a body shot.

and Molik takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A nice combination there by Irvin .
Irvin throws a combination that misses
and Molik counters with a good low kick that Irvin was not able to check.

Molik throws a lazy uppercut
and Irvin counters with a three punch combo that has Molik backing up. Molik nods at Irvin to acknowledge the strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Irvin throws a series of strikes that have Molik backpedaling.
Irvin tests Molik's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Molik is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Irvin .
That's one minute gone in the round.
Molik walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

and Irvin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Patrick Irvin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pawel Molik.
Molik looks gassed!
Irvin feints a jab promting Molik to slip. Irvin then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Molik slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Irvin uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Molik shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Irvin eats them both and turns towards Molik to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Molik is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Irvin lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Irvin is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Irvin closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Irvin lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Molik backs up against the cage.
Molik is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Irvin lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Molik can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Irvin and Molik drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Irvin .
