The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Kelly chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Aldo can pounce on him.
Kelly swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kelly blocks a low kick nicely.
Kelly swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Aldo counters with a solid body kick.
Aldo bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Kelly swings for the body but Aldo moves out of range.
Aldo lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kelly throws a sloppy head kick and Aldo moves out of range easily.
Kelly lands a right hook to the body.
Aldo keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kelly.
Kelly misses with a kick to the body
and Aldo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kelly throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Aldo throws a leg kick
and Kelly makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Aldo really felt that one!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Aldo throws a solid leg kick but Kelly takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Aldo.
Kelly jabs Aldo to the body, keeping him at a distance.

and Aldo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kelly takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Albert Kelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kelly ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Aldo moves away.
Kelly drops his hands momentarily and Aldo takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Kelly throws a lazy uppercut
and Aldo counters with a one-two to the body.
Kelly throws a lazy head kick
and Aldo counters with a left and a right that stings Kelly.
Aldo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Aldo.
Kelly looks gassed!
Aldo swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Kelly throws a head kick that misses
and Aldo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Aldo counters with a straight right hand.
Aldo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Kelly to counter with a crisp jab.
Aldo throws a nice inside leg kick.
Kelly bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
A big left from Kelly misses.
Kelly takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Aldo throws a jab when Kelly was well out of range.

Kelly moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Aldo misses with a series of wild punches.
Kelly tests Aldo's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kelly tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Aldo was well out of range. Poor timing from Kelly.
Aldo pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Kelly back to the cage. Aldo follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Aldo misses with a right hand
and Kelly counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kelly lands a nice hook to Aldo's body. Aldo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Kelly cracks Aldo with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Aldo blocks the body kick.
Aldo misses with a low kick.
Kelly throws a right and a left that Aldo avoids nicely.
Kelly stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Aldo.
Kelly sizes up Aldo with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Aldo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Aldo throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kelly connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Aldo is rocked!
Kelly cracks Aldo with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Aldo falls to his knees and Kelly doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
