Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Ox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jedrej Slipi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Paul Ox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jedrej Slipi!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ox shoots for a takedown but Slipi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ox doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Slipi counter with a right hand.

Slipi throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ox was covering up waiting for the punch and Slipi finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Slipi throws a big right hand that misses.
Slipi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ox is keeping the position for now.

Ox looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Ox avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Slipi must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Ox utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Slipi throws and elbow that misses. Ox uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Slipi's guard. Nice move by Ox!

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Ox. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Slipi shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Ox is trying to maintain the position but Slipi is very close to passing his half guard.
Slipi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ox with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Slipi thows a huge punch but Ox dodges it nicely.
Slipi is stalling here. Ox is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Slipi seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Ox has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Slipi is trying to get back to half guard.
Ox wants to control for a moment but Slipi uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Slipi makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Slipi.
Slipi can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ox controls the pace.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Jedrej Slipi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Slipi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Jedrej Slipi is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Slipi misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Jedrej Slipi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Slipi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
