Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Xander Cage!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fighter feints and as Cage raises his hands in defense, Fighter changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Cage working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Fighter.
Fighter wants to control from the top but Cage keeps moving.
Fighter won't allow Cage to get back to his feet.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fighter accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Cage preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Fighter working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cage can do anything to dispel that myth.
Cage utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Fighter is standing up over Cage. Cage looks to escape but Fighter dives into side control.

Cage really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fighter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Cage is trying to get back to his feet but Fighter has full control of the position and if anything, Cage has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Cage is breathing heavily.

Cage covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Cage is covering up but some of the strikes from Fighter are getting through and doing damage.

The Fighter overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Fighter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

It looks like Xander Cage has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Fighter has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Cage!

Fighter postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Cage looks a forlorn figure.

Cage takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

The Fighter showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fighter, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
