Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maxim Nosal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Volchenkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volchenkov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nosal tries to clinch but Volchenkov moves out of range.

and Nosal counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Volchenkov's guard now.
Volchenkov wants to stand but Nosal is controlling the position.
Nosal stands and throws Volchenkov's legs to the side, diving into side control.

and Nosal counters with a nice right hand that sends Volchenkov toppling to the canvas! Volchenkov scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Nosal finish him?!

Nosal shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Volchenkov as he jumps to the side.
Volchenkov avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Volchenkov throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Volchenkov is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Volchenkov or perhaps it was just good defense by Nosal which made him look bad.
Volchenkov lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Volchenkov.

and Volchenkov counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

and Nosal takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Nosal rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Volchenkov counters with a good low kick that Nosal was not able to check.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Volchenkov shoots in for a double leg but Nosal sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Volchenkov tries to close the distance and clinch but Nosal swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Volchenkov is looking to slow Nosal down with leg kicks.
Volchenkov moves into range and connects with a jab.
Boris Volchenkov seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Volchenkov fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Nosal has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Volchenkov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nosal swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Volchenkov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Nosal manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Volchenkov is looking to control Nosal's arms but Nosal gets an underhook and turns him. Now Volchenkov has his back to the cage.

and Volchenkov counters with a three punch combo that has Nosal backing up. Nosal nods at Volchenkov to acknowledge the strikes.

Volchenkov tries to clinch up but Nosal circles away and keeps his distance.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Maxim Nosal's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
