Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wanderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ivan Rock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wanderson Silva!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva closes the distance and clinches.
Rock wants to get back to striking at distance but Silva won't allow it.
Silva escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rock closes the distance but Silva moves to the side
and Silva counters by moving into the clinch.
Rock is fighting off a takedown attempt but Silva is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Rock to the mat. Rock regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Silva slips nicely into half guard.
Rock tries to roll over but Silva keeps him under control.
Rock keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva content to control rather than advance.
Silva tries to pass to full mount but Rock defends it.

Silva passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Rock!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Poor strikes thrown by Silva there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Silva is landing with some decent strikes but Rock is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Rock holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Silva tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Silva is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Silva gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Silva fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Rock is trying to break the clinch but Silva has him pressed against the cage.
Silva breaks from the clinch.
Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Rock, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Rock against the cage but Rock circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Silva jabs Rock right on the nose. Rock blinks but takes it well.
Rock misses with a double jab
and Silva makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Rock tries to clinch
and Silva counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Silva with the ground and pound but Rock uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Silva is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Silva thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rock's head.
Silva wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rock keeps working.
Silva might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Rock kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Silva wants to control but Rock is keeping him busy.
Despite being in the dominant position, Wanderson Silva just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Rock tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Silva moves into the clinch.
Rock is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Rock breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Silva counters with a nice leg kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Rock. That's going to slow Silva down.

Rock closes the distance but Silva moves to the side
letting Silva counter with a right hand.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Silva shoots in and bounces Rock off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Silva not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Rock keeping moving, preventing Silva from controlling successfully.

Rock is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Silva is controlling him.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Silva is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Silva slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Wanderson Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Rock's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Rock wants to clinch but Silva slips to the side
and Silva counters with a series of strikes. Rock will be more careful next time no doubt.
Nice sprawl there from Rock as Silva shoots in.

and Silva counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Rock tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Silva decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rock's guard.

Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rock swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Rock is working an open guard so Silva takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Silva will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Rock throws a head kick but Silva moves out of range.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silva.
Ivan Rock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wanderson Silva.

Silva closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Silva is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Rock is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Silva tries to reverse the position but Rock maintains control.
Silva reaches up to try and control the position but Rock seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Silva rolls and tries to escape and now Rock has his back!
A lull in the action here.
Rock thows a strike but Silva uses the opportunity to reverse the position! Great move by Silva as he ends up in Rock 's guard!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Silva wants to stand but Rock is controlling his posture from full guard.
Rock keeping moving, preventing Silva from controlling successfully.
Ivan Rock has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Rock throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
And that's the end of the fight!
Wanderson Silva comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
