Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dolph Fredriksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximillion Dirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fredriksson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is He-Man Theme and Yelling . The crowd seem to be enjoying Dirk's choice of entrance music: Mack the Knife. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fredriksson lands with a hook. Dirk tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Fredriksson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Dirk connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Dirk lunges at Fredriksson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Fredriksson's hand.
Fredriksson lands a really nice looking cross but Dirk seems unphased.
Maximillion Dirk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fredriksson wants to clinch up but Dirk keeps it at a distance.
Dirk takes a swing at Fredriksson's ribcage but misses.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dirk, as that shot connected.
Dirk bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

and Fredriksson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Dirk throws a body punch but Fredriksson moves out of range.
Fredriksson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dirk paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Fredriksson lands a slapping body shot.
Fredriksson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dirk was well out of range. Poor timing from Fredriksson.
A decent looking cross lands there for Fredriksson.

and Dirk counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fredriksson thinking.

and Fredriksson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Dirk counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Fredriksson slips under a jab.
Dirk misses with a shot to the body
and Fredriksson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Fredriksson is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Fredriksson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

A head punch on the inside from Fredriksson fails to land.
Dirk is looking to control Fredriksson's arms but Fredriksson gets an underhook and turns him. Now Dirk has his back to the cage.

Fredriksson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Dirk backwards.
Dirk breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dirk throws a lazy uppercut
and Fredriksson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Fredriksson throws a nice looking combination but Dirk bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dirk throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Fredriksson counters with a nice body shot.
Fredriksson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Dirk counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dirk misses with an uppercut
and Fredriksson counters with a one-two to the body.
Dirk is still on wobbly legs! Can Fredriksson finish him?
Dirk rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Fredriksson counters with a series of strikes. Dirk will be more careful next time no doubt.

Dirk looks gassed!
Dirk swings widly with a right hand
and Fredriksson comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Dirk stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Fredriksson is on him like rabid pit bull! Dirk slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dolph Fredriksson!
