Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Juhani Kontiovaara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antti Karpetti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kontiovaara has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Antti Karpetti is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kontiovaara looks to clinch
and Karpetti counters with a nice uppercut.

Karpetti cracks Kontiovaara with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Karpetti has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kontiovaara to stand back up!
Kontiovaara connects with an inside leg kick.
Juhani Kontiovaara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Karpetti throws an overhand right that lands on Kontiovaara's shoulder, as Kontiovaara tries to avoid the shot.
Nice straight punches there by Karpetti. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Karpetti.

Kontiovaara is rocked!
Kontiovaara is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Karpetti throws a body punch but Kontiovaara moves out of range.
A big right from Karpetti misses.
Karpetti misses with an uppercut. Kontiovaara saw that one coming.

Karpetti drops Kontiovaara with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kontiovaara looks back up at him and smiles so Karpetti waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Kontiovaara is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Karpetti throws a jab but it's blocked by Kontiovaara.
Karpetti avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Karpetti darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Kontiovaara's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Karpetti before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
