The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kontiovaara throws a right and a left that Jackson avoids nicely.
Kontiovaara rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jackson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Jackson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kontiovaara's sensitive parts.
Jackson misses with a straight right.
Kontiovaara uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jackson.
Jackson scores with a shot to the body.
Jackson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Jackson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Sue Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Kontiovaara counters with a crisp one two that drops Jackson! Kontiovaara thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Jackson to his feet! Jackson is in big trouble!

Jackson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kontiovaara throws out the jab.

Jackson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Jackson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kontiovaara moves away.
Jackson misses with an attempted mid kick.

and Kontiovaara counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Jackson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Nice straight punches there by Jackson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jackson.
Jackson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kontiovaara on the side of the head.
Jackson looks to score with a jab to the body but Kontiovaara is just out of range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kontiovaara fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Jackson to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Jackson looks to clinch but Kontiovaara throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Jackson taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
