Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matsufubu Rofuru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flash Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rofuru comes to the cage accompanied by Tetsuya Komuro - Speed 2. Flash Gordon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordon jabs at Rofuru's body.
A head kick by Gordon misses
and Rofuru cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The fighters circling - Gordon throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Rofuru keeps the fight on the outside.
Gordon looks for the body kick but Rofuru saw that one coming.
Gordon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gordon gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Rofuru counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Flash Gordon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rofuru. Gordon does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Rofuru counters with a stiff right hand.
Gordon wants to clinch up but Rofuru keeps it at a distance.

and Rofuru counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rofuru accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Gordon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rofuru controls the pace.

Rofuru looking to sit in guard and control but Gordon gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Rofuru not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rofuru has a closed guard, preventing Gordon from standing up.
Rofuru looking for a triangle here. Gordon is fighting it but it looks tight! Rofuru pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Gordon is tapping out - this one is all over!
