Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Narcaleptic Arlovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willie Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Connor has chosen Dropkick Murphys-Rocky Road To Dublin as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Connor. Arlovski does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Connor counters with an outside leg kick.
Connor thows a leg kick but Arlovski checks it
and Arlovski counters with a straight right hand.

Arlovski checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Connor fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Arlovski has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Arlovski has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Connor.

and Connor counters with a good low kick that Arlovski was not able to check.
Willie Connor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Arlovski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Connor fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Arlovski manages to avoid it.
