Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gastly Gengar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen Hawking (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gengar comes to the cage accompanied by Major Lazer - Pon De Floor . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Gengar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Gengar makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Gengar is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Hawking misses with a wild combination.
Hawking is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Hawking might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Hawking lands a really nice looking cross but Gengar seems unphased.
Hawking shoots in looking for a takedown. Gengar tries to sprawl out of it but Hawking keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gengar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hawking paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

and Gengar connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Horrible takedown by Hawking or perhaps it was just good defense by Gengar which made him look bad.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Gengar.
Gengar feints a jab promting Hawking to slip. Gengar then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hawking slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Gengar throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Hawking stumbling backwards into the cage! Hawking bounces back off the cage towards Gengar, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Gengar lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Gengar celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
