Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Pegg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sert Pier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pier has chosen All Nightmare Long as his entrance music. Simon Pegg has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pegg tries to clinch but Pier is having none of it.

Pegg shoots in and bounces Pier off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Simon Pegg.

Pegg feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Pegg bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pier's guard.

Pier has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pegg can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
