The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potter throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Mcarthur to counter with a crisp jab.

Mcarthur closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Potter to the mat! Potter manages to get full guard.
Mcarthur won't allow Potter to get back to his feet.
Mcarthur wants to pass the guard but Potter is keeping the position.
Mcarthur stops Potter from standing up.
Mcarthur trying to control the position from guard on top but Potter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Mcarthur is looking to advance position but Potter has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Mcarthur can't escape the position.

Mcarthur tries to hold on but Potter postures up.
Mcarthur wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Potter is not going to allow Mcarthur to sit and survive in this position.

Potter stands up.
Potter darts in trying to clinch

and Mcarthur decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Potter's guard.
Potter wants to get back to his feet but Mcarthur is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mcarthur looking to sit in guard and control but Potter gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Potter gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Potter throws a combination. Mcarthur tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Josh Mcarthur has been cut.

Mcarthur is breathing heavily.
