Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Blatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and OneRound Sapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blatt comes to the cage accompanied by you're going down- sick puppies. Sapp is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bob sapp sends man to emergency room.. The key to victory for Jeff Blatt has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blatt shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Sapp counter with a right hand.
Nice defenses there by Blatt.
Blatt misses with a few strikes there.
Blatt fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Blatt moves out of range of the body kick.
Sapp forces Blatt back against the cage and clinches.
Blatt on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Blatt stalling in the clinch but Sapp improves position.

Sapp prevents a body shot from Blatt.
Sapp misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Blatt.
Blatt swings wildly with an uppercut but Sapp uses good head movement to avoid it.
Blatt jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sapp walks away with a smile on his face. Blatt gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Sapp defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Blatt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeff Blatt. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Blatt manages to escape and get back to his feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sapp is defended easily by Blatt.

Sapp pushes off an throws an elbow but Blatt leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Blatt is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sapp gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Sapp lands a left hand.
Blatt blocking some punches.

Blatt digs a right hand underneath Sapp's ribcage. Sapp let out a lung full of air as it connected.
With the fighters up against the cage, Sapp throws an elbow but misses.

Blatt lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Blatt prevents Sapp from improving his position.
Blatt decides to return to a standing position.
Blatt throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sapp counters with a nice double leg into side control. Blatt won't be happy with that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blatt is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Sapp asserts his dominance and retains side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blatt is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Sapp has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Blatt is looking for a sweep.
Blatt is pushing Sapp's head away, looking to escape. Sapp manages to hold on to the position though.
Blatt manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
OneRound Sapp dominated that round.

so Sapp counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Sapp throwing strikes from guard but Blatt blocks nicely.

Blatt lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sapp!
Blatt throws some wild stikes that Sapp manages to avoid easily.
Sapp bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Sapp really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blatt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Blatt will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Sapp prevents Blatt from improving his position.
OneRound Sapp has got the better of the ground game so far.
Blatt is trying to stand up here but Sapp is controlling him well.

Blatt is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Sapp can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Blatt is looking to escape.
Sapp won't let Blatt get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Sapp wants to control the pace but Blatt is squirming around nicely.
Sapp lands a big shot there that rocks Blatt but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Jeff Blatt's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
