Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Miro Antauro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miroslav Olipko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Antauro might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Maria Maria. This should be a great matchup!

With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Miro Antauro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Miroslav Olipko!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Roberts and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olipko tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Antauro counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Olipko tries to clinch but Antauro moves away
and Olipko takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Olipko looks to clinch
and Antauro counters with a stiff right hand.
Antauro throws a half hearted mid kick.
Antauro scores with a crisp jab that stopped Olipko in his tracks.
A left lands for Antauro.
Antauro throws a body kick despite being completely out of range

and Olipko counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Antauro keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Olipko wants to control but Antauro is keeping him busy.
Olipko throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Olipko missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Olipko wants to pass to mount but Antauro is defending the position.
Olipko has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Antauro desperately trying to maintain half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Antauro is looking for a sweep. Olipko is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Antauro is staying active underneath Olipko, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Antauro knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Olipko on the ground.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Olipko takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
A decent looking cross lands there for Antauro.
Antauro misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Olipko needs to keep his hands up - Antauro had a free shot at his head there.
Antauro connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Olipko's hands.
Olipko throws a lazy head kick
and Antauro connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Olipko doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Antauro counters with a straight right hand.
Olipko closes the distance looking to clinch
and Antauro counters with a nice body kick.
Olipko with a poor takedown
and Antauro counters with a straight right hand.
Antauro throws a big shot that misses.
Antauro lands a nice leg kick that just misses Olipko's sensitive parts.
Olipko takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Olipko fails with the takedown

and Antauro counters by moving into the clinch.
Miro Antauro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miroslav Olipko.
Olipko looks gassed!
Olipko misses with an elbow over the top.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Antauro lands a body punch in the clinch.
Olipko throws a knee to the head but misses.
Olipko is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Antauro is defending well for now.

Antauro manages to break the clinch.
Antauro circles away from the clinch attempt
enabling Antauro to counter with a crisp jab.
Antauro is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Olipko fails with the takedown
and Antauro counters with a head kick.
Olipko walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Antauro tries a head kick but it misses.
Olipko misses with a kick to the body
and Antauro cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Olipko takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Antauro steps in with a hook that catches Olipko right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Antauro follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Olipko looks absolutely devastated.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Miro Antauro!
