The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Boothe.
Santos takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Santos tries to close the distance and clinch but Boothe swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Boothe throws a low kick, looking for Santos's leg but Santos calmly moves out of range.
Santos doesn't manage to clinch there - Boothe circles away.
A good leg kick by Boothe.
Boothe blocks a head kick by Santos.
The fight stays on the outside here - Santos looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Thomas Boothe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Santos takes one to the side of the head.
Santos connects with a good right hand that stumbles Boothe. Boothe circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Boothe lands with a cross.
Boothe dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Santos checks a low kick from Boothe.

and Boothe counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Jake Santos has been cut.

Boothe throws a quick head kick that knocks Santos silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Boothe is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
