Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
PauNeles changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fodder tries to avoid it but PauNeles manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fodder to the ground. Fodder escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
PauNeles loads up on a big right hand but Fodder slips the punch.
PauNeles is looking to clinch.

PauNeles feints and as Fodder raises his hands in defense, PauNeles changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fodder wants to sweep but no luck.
PauNeles trying to stand up but can't free himself from Fodder's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
PauNeles slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
PauNeles in side control, just content to control the action for now.

Fodder is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fodder is trying to control PauNeles's posture but PauNeles avoids it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
PauNeles slows the pace down.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Fodder makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
No joy there for PauNeles, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
PauNeles bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Fodder is in all sorts of trouble here.

Fodder wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
PauNeles controlling the position well here. Fodder rolled but PauNeles kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

PauNeles closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - PauNeles lands in his opponent's guard.
Fodder utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Fodder is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. PauNeles is aware though and is defending well.
