Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jj Big (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Big comes to the cage accompanied by who let the dogs out. Jj Big has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jj Big!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jack Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Big shoots in and gets a takedown into Jackson's guard.

Big is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jackson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jackson has escaped and now he's on top!
Big is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Big is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Jackson has managed to free his arm - good work.

Big is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jackson is just riding it out for now. Big eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Big wants to work for an arm triangle but Jackson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

and Big counters with a single leg into guard. Jackson didn't expect that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jackson drops back looking for a leg! Big is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Big manages to kick Jackson off! Jackson jumps back into Big's guard.
Big wants to sweep but no luck.

Big working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jackson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jackson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Jackson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Big sneaks back into half guard.
Big is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Jackson wants to take a breather but Big is having none of it.
Big tries to roll over but Jackson keeps him under control.

Big moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Jackson wants to control from the top but Big keeps moving.
Jj Big overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Big is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jackson defends well.

Jackson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Big has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jackson has managed to get both his arms back between Big's legs - danger averted.

Jackson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jackson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Jackson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Big is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Jackson throws out a powerful jab.
Big fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Jackson lands with a right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jackson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.


It looks like Jj Big has been cut.
Big takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Big's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jackson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Big scrambles back to his feet.
Jackson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bigs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Big takes one to the side of the head.
Jackson lands with a cross.
Jackson scores with a crisp jab that stopped Big in his tracks.


Big is rocked!
Jackson lands a head shot.

Jackson lands a big uppercut and Big crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Big looks OK. Jackson waves Big back to his feet!
Oh Big is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jackson circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Big to the canvas! Big doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Jackson keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Jackson!
