Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Habib al Habibin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony McFist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). al Habibin kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Can't Be Touched. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Habib al Habibin!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
al Habibin throws a head kick that misses.
al Habibin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
McFist avoids the head kick by al Habibin.
al Habibin lands with a kick to the temple. McFist shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
The fight stays on the outside here - al Habibin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
al Habibin throws a body punch but McFist moves out of range.
McFist chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before al Habibin can pounce on him.
al Habibin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
al Habibin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McFist pinned against the cage. McFist gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
al Habibin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McFist's waist but McFist gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing al Habibin off to one side.

al Habibin gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
al Habibin throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but McFist blocks it with crossed arms.
al Habibin is trying to maintain a safe position but McFist gets an underhook and turns al Habibin into the cage.
al Habibin is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Habib al Habibin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
al Habibin throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
al Habibin has McFist pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. al Habibin pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending McFist tumbling to the mat - al Habibin dives into McFist's guard.
McFist tries to land a sweep but no joy.
McFist is trying to keep al Habibin in close.
McFist might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control al Habibin kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
al Habibin won't allow McFist to sweep him here.
McFist is looking for a triangle but al Habibin pushes his legs off easily.

McFist has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but al Habibin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
McFist manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. al Habibin manages to get himself to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McFist pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. al Habibin is keeping the position for now.
McFist slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
al Habibin is trying to improve his position.
McFist tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
McFist looks gassed!
al Habibin is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked McFist off and has taken his back!

McFist looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
al Habibin working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but McFist is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and al Habibin has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! McFist taps out!
