Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Khru Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drey Severence (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kang kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Goldberg Entrance Theme by WCW. Drey Severence has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kang pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Severence tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Severence showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kang.
Kang throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Kang lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Kang throws a series of punches but Severence avoids them all with ease.

Severence scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Kang tries to clinch but Severence is having none of it.

and Severence counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Kang!

Kang is wriggling around trying to escape.
Severence trying to control but Kang is having none of it.
Kang bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Kang postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Kang has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Severence misses with a takedown attempt - Kang sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Kang will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Kang counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kang.
Severence has had enough of the clinch but Kang keeps him there for the moment.

Kang breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kang lands a jab to Severence's midsection.
Kang avoids the head kick by Severence.
Kang misses with a two punch combination.
Severence takes a swing at Kang's ribcage but misses.
Kang misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Severence.

Severence changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kang looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Kang is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Kang wants to control but Severence is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Severence tries to stand but can't do so whilst Kang controls his leg.

Kang wants to sweep here but Severence controlling him for the moment.
Kang bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Severence's guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Khru Kang will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Kang lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Severence backs up against the cage.
Severence clobbers Kang with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Severence scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Kang is rocked!
Khru Kang is winning the standup battle so far.

Oh Kang is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
