PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mike Angelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Brawn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ben Brawn told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brawn looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Angelo avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Brawn.
Angelo tries to get to full guard but Brawn has control of the leg.
Brawn slips a nice elbow through Angelo's hands, connecting with Angelo's forehead.

Brawn looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Angelo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Brawn looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Angelo can't hide his disappointment, as Brawn celebrates the victory.
