The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Render tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Silva paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Render drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Render might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Render tries to stand but Silva is controlling from the bottom.
Render knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.
Render postures up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Silva is on top in guard.
Silva is pushing down on Render's leg trying to pass to half guard. Render is fighting to maintain full guard but Silva has managed to sneak the leg through.

Silva maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Render could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Silva has cracked it and Render is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Silva!
